Darryl Salls was born in Lyndonville, Vt and raised in Lebanon, NH. Before becoming a real estate agent and broker he dabbled in all sorts of careers: he began by operating a business that manufactured skids and pallets and then spent some time logging. After that he moved to Florida where he owned a business that sold and serviced lawn mowers and chainsaws. When he moved back to the Northeast he made plywood for crutches, heels, and bows and arrows, and worked for Splitball Bearing/Timken where he was a toolmaker and leadperson before getting his real estate license in 1999. Darryl claims he still doesn't know what he wants to do when he grows up, which must mean he hasn't quite gotten there yet.
In addition to coming to Century 21 with extensive career experience Darryl comes from a large family. He has six brothers and three sisters and has had three children of his own, two girls and a boy. His oldest daughter recently bought a house in Lebanon,NH and is currently renovating it with her husband, and employee of The Right Stuff, a recruiting company in Wilder, VT. His second daughter lives in MA where she is a librarian. She's married to a bicycle rider/racer who runs a business building and fitting racing bikes. His son lives in Enfield and runs a web design business. Darryl includes 5 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren in his family tally, but he says he doesn't count his only pet, a cat. When he has free time he enjoys racing autos, which he began when he lived in Florida, and traveling to anywhere warm, especially the Western U.S. California coastline. He won Realtor of the Year in 2007 and is currently a broker for Century 21 Energy Shield.
